Question: What is Quick Save and why would I want to use it?

Answer: Quick Save is used to save your entry to the database, but you will remain on the Publish screen to continue working. 

Note:  Pings and Trackbacks are not sent during Quick Saves.

The entry will go live, Quick Save doesn’t have its own special status or whatever.
